AI Tips to Turn Your Insurance Resume Into a Clear ‘Yes’

In a companion piece to this article, we walked through ways to sharpen and revise a resume with AI. Now, let’s take a closer look at ways to apply AI prompts for specific roles insurance industry professionals are seeking.

How to Use These Examples with AI

You can paste your own bullets into an AI tool with prompts like:

  • Here are my current bullets as a [auto claims adjuster/commercial underwriter]. Rewrite them in the style of the “after” examples below: concise, impact-focused and factual. Don’t invent any new responsibilities or numbers.
  • Make my bullets more specific and results-oriented, similar to these samples, but keep all details accurate to what I’ve done.

Then:

  1. Check every detail for accuracy.
  2. Adjust language so it still sounds like you.
  3. Remove or soften anything that feels overstated.

Here are sample before-and-after bullets you can use as patterns for your own resume. Each “after” example is the kind of improvement AI can help you generate, then you can personalize and fact-check.
