APPLIED CLIENT NETWORK MEMBERSHIP FAQS

WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR MEMBERSHIP?

Agencies/brokerages using Applied Systems who are current on support are eligible as User Members. Associate membership is availabe to carriers, consultants and vendors.  Certain restrictions apply, so contact the Director of Business Development at Applied Client Network for details regarding eligibility.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO BECOME A MEMBER?

Membership dues, which range from $349 to $585 USD, are based on the number of licensed users and the type of membership.

DOES EVERYONE IN THE AGENCY/BROKERAGE NEED TO JOIN AND PAY A MEMBERSHIP FEE?

No.  A single membership covers all users at your location, making this a wise and economical investment.

IS IT TRUE THAT APPLIED SYSTEMS WILL PAY FOR MY FIRST YEAR OF MEMBERSHIP WHEN I'M A NEW CLIENT?

Yes!  Applied Systems pays for a new client's first 12 months as a member of Applied Client Network.  Chapter dues are also complimentary during this period.

HOW LONG DOES MEMBERSHIP LAST?

Applied Client Network membership runs on a calendar year basis, from January 1 through December 31.

ARE ADJUSTMENTS TO DUES MADE IF MY ORGANIZATION JOINS MID-YEAR?

If you join April through September, your membership will be prorated through the end of the current year.  If you join between October and December, a prorated amount for the remainder of the year or a membership for the next year will be offered.  This allows you to make a single payment and bypass the annual renewal process the year you join.  Thereafter, you'll be on the same annual schedule as all other members.

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DOES APPLIED CLIENT NETWORK ACCEPT?

You may pay by check, payable to Applied Client Network, or with a credit card (MasterCard, VISA or American Express). At the present time, only payments in U.S. dollars are accepted. NOTE – Payments coming from Canada – All member companies located in Canada are highly encouraged to pay by credit card to avoid currency conversion discrepancies. If paying by check, all payments must be sent in USD. If payments are received in anything other than USD, your check may be returned and subject to a processing fee. If you wish to pay by wire transfer, please contact info@appliedclientnetwork.org.

WHERE DO I MAIL MY PAYMENT?

If paying by check, applications or renewal invoices should be sent to Applied Client Network. 330 N Wabash Ave. Suite 2000, Chicago IL 60611. If paying by credit card, you can pay online. NOTE - Applied Client Network will issue a $25 processing fee to any checks that are sent in error.

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY ANNUAL RENEWAL INVOICE?

Invoices for the following year's membership are issued during the 4th quarter of the year.

DOES THE NATIONAL MEMBERSHIP FEE AUTOMATICALLY MAKE ME A MEMBER OF A LOCAL CHAPTER?

Once you join the national organization, you are eligibile to request membership in a local chapter and/or one of the "chapters without borders."  To find a local chapter in your area, click here.  Separate fees, which range from $50 to $150 USD per year, apply.  For your convenience, you may request chapter membership(s) at the same time you apply for national membership.

MY AGENCY DID NOT REQUEST CHAPTER MEMBERSHIP AT THE TIME IT JOINED APPLIED CLIENT NETWORK. CAN WE JOIN NOW?

Chapters welcome new members at any time.  Contact the Membership team at Applied Client Network to request an invoice so you can be added to the desired chapter(s).  Fees will be adjusted depending on the month your request is made.

HOW DO I REMOVE AN INDIVIDUAL WHO IS NO LONGER WITH THE ORGANIZATION FROM OUR ROSTER?

If you are the primary contact, you can edit your roster on the membership tab on your company profile. If you don’t know who your primary contact is, you can contact the  Membership team at Applied Client Network.

HOW DO I CHANGE MY ORGANIZATION'S MAILING ADDRESS WITH APPLIED CLIENT NETWORK?

If you are designated as the primary contact for your organization you can manage your companies profile online.

WHERE CAN I FIND MY USERNAME AND PASSWORD?

If you have misplaced or forgotten your Username and Password, use the convenient links on the Member Log in area to secure assistance.  Usernames will be emailed to the address currently on the file in your membership record.  For passwords, a link allowing you to create a new password will be sent to the email address in your membership record.

CAN OTHER INDIVIDUALS AT MY LOCATION BE GRANTED ACCESS TO THE WEBSITE?

To maximize your agency's efficiency and profitability, individuals in any of the following roles will benefit:  principals, producers, CSRs, accountants/bookkeepers, operations, trainers, system administrators/IT personnel and marketing.  Send an email request to the Membership team at Applied Client Network with the name, title and email address of the individual(s) you wish to add.

AS A MEMBER, DO WE RECEIVED DISCOUNTED RATES FOR APPLIED NET?

Yes!  Members can save more than 23% on Full Registration fees for Applied Net, depending on when they register.  Discounts exceeding 31% are offered to member agencies that have previously sent their employees to the Annual Conference.  And, member agencies sending four or more employees to the Applied Net also qualify for special pricing.

AS A MEMBER, ARE WE ENTITLED TO ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE?

We do not provide technical support, nor does membership allow you to move up in a "queue." We do offer the Applied Client network Community as a great resource for "users helping users" assistance. Here you will receive timely responses to your questions, and have the opportunity to exchange best practices and workflows with other insurance industry professionals.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF VOLUNTEERING WITH APPLIED CLIENT NETWORK?

Volunteering as a chapter leader, committee member, board member or at the Applied net conference are just a few ways you can gain new skills and information and share your knowledge with others.  Watch your email and our website for periodic "Call for Volunteers" invitations or contact the Marketing team at Applied Client Network for more information.
