Kathy began her career as an insurance professional in 1999, after spending 2 years as an American History teacher. Her early insurance career was with a direct writer, serving in various capacities including underwriting and call center management. Kathy joined BOK Financial Insurance in 2004. She currently serves as Vice President, Risk Management and is the resident Epic expert. After spending 11 years in agency operations, Kathy moved into a full-time business development role for her agency in January of 2021. In addition, Kathy is an adjunct faculty at Rio Salado College where she teaches insurance and risk management courses. Kathy also sits on the Risk Management and Insurance Advisory Council for Grand Canyon University.
Kathy holds a B.A. in History from the University of Texas at San Antonio and a Master's Degree in Leadership from Grand Canyon University. She is also a Certified Insurance Counselor and holds an AINS designation.
Kathy enjoys spending her down-time being creative including cooking and sewing. When she's not working, you can usually find Kathy serving at her church, watching her husband and son build things in their woodshop or attending a cross country meet or cheer competition to root on her daughter.
