2019 Applied Client Network Award Winners

Each year, the members of Applied Client Network have an opportunity to nominate their peers and recognize dedicated volunteers who continue to add value to our community. Here are the 2019 Award Winners, announced by ACN Chair, Aaron Rich, at Applied Net 2019.

Bill McNulty Chapter Volunteer of the Year: Patty Andree

_26a0334_acn.jpgPatty Andree reflects many of the same leadership and contributions Bill has made to Applied Client Network. Patty serves not only one but two chapters in a leadership role - Wisconsin and Large Agent Alliance chapter. She has helped take these chapters to the next level through her devotion to the user group, at the national and local level. Patty displays willingness to dedicate time outside of her day job to ensure these chapters are thriving. Patty has gone above and beyond in her membership recruitment efforts for both chapters, including developing a process for welcoming new members, facilitating networking activities and making it a point to communicate with her chapter members, not just prior to meetings, but year-round.

Her philosophy is simple: “give back.” She has found value in the knowledge and education she has received and believes the best way to show her appreciation is to give her time and knowledge back to the community. Her time is also spent serving the Member Relations Committee as the 2019 chair.

2019 Committee Volunteer of the Year: Lori Heemstra

_26a0336_acn.jpgLori Heemstra currently serves as a member of the IMPACT committee and is an excellent advocate for Applied Client Network and the insurance industry as a whole. She is very active in promoting the importance of the user group within her community, within ACN and has led IMPACT’s involvement with the product enhancements process through her dedication to improving the program.

Lori always provides invaluable feedback that appeals to the member community as a whole which, in turn, creates better products for our members through future system releases. Lori continually looks for ways to move her committee forward and support and grow its members. Lori also served as the Chair of the Member Relations Committee in 2018 and was pivotal in raising membership and retention during her time with the committee.

Applied Net Scholarship Winner: Morgan Eberly

_26a0357_acn.jpgThis year’s scholarship recipient, Morgan Eberly from Capstone Group, is a recent college graduate, who has been with her agency for two years, and has already acquired a huge thirst for learning everything she can around Epic. She thoroughly enjoys working with the product. Morgan was integral in leading her agency’s migration from TAM to Epic and quickly realized her aptitude and interest in the implementation process. She takes advantage of any opportunity to learn, including attending the Applied Client Network webinars, posting in the discussion forums and accessing our news sources and industry content. She has learned much in her two years at the agency and has made an effort to share her knowledge with her peers. She can’t wait to take the information she has absorbed this week at Applied Net and bring it back to her agency and bring the use of their system to the next level.
